Bailey HUNDO news
Bailey100.com Hello HUNDO Racer, Spring-a-ling! June 15th is just around the bend – have you kicked your training into higher gear yet? Come rain (or snow) or sunshine your 100 miles to HUNDO glory kicks off in just a few weeks! Ring-a-ling! The dollars each racer brings in through personal fundraising is vital to our success. We are counting on you to help the HUNDO support three amazing mountain bike organizations and to support real Bailey area trail development projects. Remember, by accepting the HUNDO invitation, you have agreed to raise and/or personally contribute at least $250 by or on packet pick-up day (June 13 or June 14). But just as we know you will challenge yourself to finish 100 miles on June 15, we hope you will also challenge yourself to go big in your fundraising. Don’t stop at $250 . . go for $300, $500 a $1,000 or more!! If your fundraising has hit a slump, here are some ideas for you:
Your efforts make a difference! Because of your commitment to our race, we also have the support of many new and returning corporate partners like Scott Sports, Brownstein Hyatt Farber and Schreck, Cutthroat Café, Anadarko, Bicycle Village, St. Anthony’s Hospital, and Primal, just to name a few. Thank you to the racers who have raised more than $1000 in donations to date! We think it’s quite fair, with your competitive juices pumping, to spur on a bit of fundraising competition. P.S. Check out the 2013 Bailey HUNDO video trailer – with the 2013 race theme song "Roller Coaster" Click Here to view video Hi Family and Friends! This year, I’m racing in the Bailey HUNDO ( www.bailey100.com ) to raise money for these organizations.
The Bailey HUNDO is a 100 mile mountain biking race, which includes 50 miles of single track and over 12,000 feet of climbing. In short, a monster of a ride and a little tougher than the Leadville 100. The race on June 15th, which gives me the right amount of time to train for the event. I hope you’ll considering donating $0.10, $0.25, maybe $1.00 per/ mile, to these great organizations on my behalf. Your donation will help me to get out there and train harder. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. www.prerace.com/registration/donation/#####. Many thanks for your support — and don’t forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! Many thanks and wish me luck – I hope to complete the course in under X hours.
