Congratulations Bailey HUNDO racer!
Bailey100.com Hello HUNDO Racer, Congratulations on getting into the race! And to all legacy riders, we are happy to see you have returned for a little old fashioned suffering this year! We know your training is kicking into high gear as you prepare to take on 100 miles on June 15 . . . but how’s your fundraising going? Like training, fundraising takes practice, perseverance, and the belief that you can do it! Don’t be afraid to ask your family, friends, fellow Facebookers, co-workers, company, and anyone else who might want to support your efforts on June 15th. Remember, the HUNDO is passionate about getting kids outside and building trails so we can enjoy all that our beautiful state has to offer. Your fundraising dollars are used to turn this passion into reality by supporting our charitable partners – Trips for Kids, Colorado High School Cycling League and COMBA. To get you on the road to fundraising success, here are a few tips:
And speaking of rewards . . . don’t forget the HUNDO’s prizes for our top fundraisers:
Check out the Bailey HUNDO website for details on prizes available to HUNDO racers who raise $250 and up. The more you raise the better the prizes – so challenge yourself! (Please remember that we ask every racer to raise a minimum of $250.) We are partnering again with Optimize Endurance Services (OES) as our training plan partner. The FREE 8 week plan for the HUNDO starts on the 22nd of April. For more information visit this page. On behalf of our charitable partners, thank you for choosing to race the HUNDO this year. We know that fundraising can be tough and we appreciate your enthusiasm and passion for the sport and for getting kids outside. We can’t wait to see you on race day! Sincerely, P.S. This year, I’m racing in the Bailey HUNDO ( www.bailey100.com ) to raise money for these organizations.
The Bailey HUNDO is a 100 mile mountain biking race, which includes 50 miles of single track and over 12,000 feet of climbing. In short, a monster of a ride and a little tougher than the Leadville 100. The race on June 15th, which gives me the right amount of time to train for the event. I hope you’ll considering donating $0.10, $0.25, maybe $1.00 per/ mile, to these great organizations on my behalf. Your donation will help me to get out there and train harder. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. http://www.prerace.com/registration/donation/#####. Many thanks for your support — and don’t forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! Many thanks and wish me luck – I hope to complete the course in under X hours.
