The HUNDO is managed by a volunteer board of directors that all have a passion for mountain biking, getting racers on some of the best single track trail in the country, and having a great time outdoors; and most importantly, giving back to the community through our three primary race beneficiaries.

Jen Barbour Interim President
Jen Barbour is an active cyclist, Executive Director of Team Evergreen Cycling and board member of the Golden GiddyUp.
Brittany Jones Treasurer
Brittany is a new director in 2017 and is a copy editor for SmartEtailing, which helps independent bike shops thrive in today’s retail landscape. She is a dirt-centric cyclist and a board member of Naked Women’s Racing. She has volunteered with Colorado High School Cycling League and is passionate about getting kids from all backgrounds out on our trails and on bikes.
Bill Kulenburg Vice President
Bill lives in and operates a Bed & Breakfast in Bailey and is a past president of the Platte Canyon Chamber.
Jonathan Currie Director
Johathan is on the board of Trips for Kids and is a 2010 and 2011 Hundo finisher.
Nat Ross Director
Nat is a long time HUNDO racer and is associated with Colorado High School Cycling League.
Jason Bertolacci Director
Jason Bertolacci is owner of Bertolacci LLC, a consultancy in the public lands and outdoor recreation space, and the mountain bike representative on the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Advisory Group, he works with race sponsors and oversees the finish line activity on race day.
John Hutchinson Director
John “Hutch” has been a director since 2014, has deep experience with this race and works full time for the Colorado High School League. Hutch serves as the HUNDO Secretary.
Shane Garman Director
Shane became a Director in 2015. He was formerly the HUNDO’s pro bono attorney
Patrick Bull Director
Patrick is a new director in 2017 and is a COMBA board member.
Mark Lyons Director
Mark is a new director in 2017 and has been an avid mountain biker/cyclist for almost 30 years. Mark has lived in the Bailey area for over 12 years, and has been involved with the Bailey Hundo in many capacities since the first year, including finishing the HUNDO and the HUNDitO twice each. He was also a co-creator (with Ben Hobgood) of the HUNDitO course and has been involved with high school mountain biking for over 10 years.
Jon Cox Director
Jon is a new director in 2017.
Chris Romer Founder
Chris is one of the Hundo founders and is passionate about bringing mountain bikers to the Bailey area.
Austin Smart Race Director
Austin has 4 years experience with the CO HS Cycling League, volunteered for the HUNDO the past four years and made the Bailey HUNDO film documentary.
