Trips for Kids Denver

The vision of Trips for Kids Denver/Boulder is to be a community leader serving youth through its programs which promote health & fitness, environmental stewardship and personal empowerment – two wheels at a time.

Trips for Kids Denver/Boulder is dedicated to giving underserved, urban youth the opportunity to experience and learn about the natural beauty of Colorado from the seat of a mountain bike. We strive to give children the chance to see a different side of Colorado, to expand their understanding of what they can achieve, and to make personal connections with the natural world. We are an organization of cyclists, educators, and community leaders who believe we can make an unquestionable difference in the lives of children by opening their minds to new possibilities, and arming them with greater self-esteem.

COMBA, a chapter of IMBA, is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and improving mountain biking on the Colorado Front Range. The organization is committed to being an advocacy voice for all mountain bikers, building and maintaining trails, teaching proper trail use, and working with government on land management decisions.

CO HS Cycling League

The Colorado High School Cycling League was formed in 2009. The inaugural race series was in the fall of 2010 with 183 student athletes participating representing 20 teams from throughout the state and southern Wyoming. The Colorado League participation grew in 2011 to 325 student athletes from 33 teams. We provide a well defined race season for junior racers and that promotes the formation of teams at public and private high schools. With the cooperation of local race promoters and our sponsors we put together a first class series of races designed for high school aged riders. A primary focus of the League is to provide a fun and easy way to involve juniors in the challenging and exciting world of competitive cycling.
